    Hi, I am Donald Bedsole, better known as the "peanut man". I became a Master Mason in 1985 in Cottondale Lodge #206 where I held the offices of Treasurer and Tyler. In 2004 I transferred my Masonic membership to Harmony Lodge #3 in Marianna.

    I became a charter member of Cottondale Court #74 in 1990 and have served the Court as Treasurer, Warder, Sentinel, Associate Patron and Royal Patron. I have also served as Grand Sentinel, Deputy Grand Royal Patron and on Grand Court committees. I have traveled to the Grand Courts of Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, West Virginia and North Carolina.

    I am a member of Marianna Chapter #129 OES and have served as Marshal. I have also served my community as Cub Scout and Weblo leader for several years. I have been very active in my church, having served as youth director, with the church bus ministry, as Royal Ranger leader, with the senior citizen ministry and men's fellowship.

    I retired from the Florida Department of Corrections in 1991, as Lieutenant, with 26 years of service.

    I have been married to my high school sweetheart for almost 44 years, H.L. Hilda. We have one son and daughter-in-law. We served as foster parents for 17 years and have helped raise 70 foster kids, which have given us some 50 foster grand kids.
