I was initiated and received the DeMolay Degree on October 22, 1951 in St. Petersburg Chapter, in St. Petersburg, Florida.

I was raised a Master Mason on October 17, 1963, at Shamrock Lodge No 268, in Cross City, Florida while serving in the United States Air Force. While stationed at Biloxi, Ms., I joined the York Rite Bodies. Later, stationed in Birkenfeld, Germany, I became a dual member, served as Secretary and am an Honorary Life member of Nahe Temple No 824 AF&AM. While in Germany, I joined: the Scottish Rite Bodies; the Shrine and the International Order of Eastern Star.

After retiring in Homestead, FL, from the U.S. Air Force and as an Educator in the Adult evening education program, we moved to south Columbia County (Lake City address) where I affiliated and became a Perpetual member with Cherry Hill Lodge No 12 in Ft. White. I am a: Past Master; Past
Secretary; Past District Deputy Grand Master and currently, Historian of the Lodge. Additionally, I have held several OES offices and am a Past Patron of Santa Fe OES Chapter 105 in High Springs, Florida.

I am a Life Member and am the Treasurer for the past 5 years of Azalea Court 65, in Lake City, where I have served as: Warder; Sentinel; Associate Patron; Royal Patron; Deputy Grand Royal Patron; Grand Rep. to Massachusetts and currently the Grand Fraternal Correspondent and have
served on many Grand Court committees.

I am a Life member of the DAV and the American Legion - having served as officers in both organizations.

I attended: St. Petersburg College; have both a AA and AS from Miami-Dade College; a BS in Technical Ed and a MS in Adult Education & Human Resource Development from
Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, Florida.

I am member and a past officer in the following Honorary Societies: Epsilon Pi Tau (Technical Ed.) and Kappa Delta Pi (Education).
