H. L. Katie Hill Grand Associate Matron

I am honored to have been elected Grand Associate Matron and to have SK Fred Young as my Grand Associate Patron.

I was born in Tennessee and moved to Dayton Ohio when I was very young. I graduated from Cumberland  College (University) in Williamsburg KY in 1963 and then received my Masters degrees from Wright State University in  Dayton OH.  My husband and I taught school in Trotwood OH for thirty years and then retired to Cape Coral Florida in 1995.

Being active in community and Masonic organizations has been my life since retirement.  I have served as President of the Alumni Board of Directors for Cumberland College, President of New Residence Club in  Cape Coral.  I am a Past High Priestess of Abara Court #80, Past Worthy Matron of Loyalty Chapter #309 OES,  Past Royal Matron of Lee Court #9 and am a member of White Shrine of Jerusalem and Daughters of the Nile.

My husband, Martin and I have been married for 47 years. We have no children but lots of nieces and nephews.  We have traveled extensively all around the world.  If we could we could live year round on a cruise ship  I am sure that is where you would find us.
